The Violet Flame is known for its comprehensive healing properties, especially in matters of self-transformation and Karmic balancing. Saint Germain suggests the use of the Violet Flame to mitigate the following:
1. Harmful Cycles: release outdated, broken, and dysfunctional patterns. Lack of perfection: self-doubt, worry, and guilt. Saint Germain suggests the following decree to diminish fears of all kind:
Violet Flame I AM, God I AM.
Violet Flame, come forward in this instant.
Manifest perfection in, through, and around me!
Violet Flame I AM, God I AM Perfection, Violet Flame.
This decree is powerful enough to crack the voltage of the Blue Flame within the will. Its power is on a par with the electricity-producing force of lightning. Uttering this decree will create the Lightning Crack of Divine Intervention. The simple decree, “Violet Flame I AM, God I AM Violet Flame,” from Saint Germain is meant for everyone. It instantly infuses the Violet Flame in our hearts. This decree lifts human ity out of suffering, limitation, death, and destruction, and into the hopeful vista of a New Day.
2. Forgiveness of Self: The Violet Flame assists the forgiveness of self. Use of its transforming fires transmutes any type of guilt. The Violet Flame is particularly helpful in transmuting the cause and effect surrounding memories that harness our consciousness with negativity and suppress our spiritual growth and evolution.
3. Sins of Self: Our own perceptions keep us trapped in a paradigm of death, decay, destruction, and catastrophe. Saint Germain sees this as a sin against self and encourages the dismantling of these destructive forces by applying the restorative energy of the Violet Flame and its Ray of transmuting light.
4. Know Thyself: Self-knowledge, along with the acknowledgement of our own doubts, limitations, strengths, and talents, is a key component of personal freedom.

A Decree Is Like a Mantra

Decrees, similar to mantras, are yet another form of verbal prayer; however, decrees differ because of the added element of visualization, the spoken word, and the spiritual stillness of meditation. Some claim that decrees are one of the most powerful forms of prayer because they unite four chakras: prayer (Heart Chakra); spoken word (throat chakra); visualization (third eye chakra); meditation (crown chakra).
Violet Flame decrees are used worldwide by thousands of Ascended Master students. They can be spoken individually or used in groups to generate the benefic qualities of the Violet Ray: mercy, compassion, and forgiveness. One of my favorites is the simple Violet Fire decree by Mark Prophet, “I AM a being of Violet Fire! I AM the purity God desires!”
Decrees or mantras are often said rhythmically, in groups of seven, or in rounds of 108—the traditional Mala. [Note: A Mala is a prayer or rosary bead typically used in Hinduism and Buddhism, and a full Mala contains 108 beads with one final large bead often referred to as the guru bead.] Decrees and mantras are also repeated silently in the mind, similar to prayer, in preparation for meditation. El Morya lends further insight: “… it is when this (decree) is consciously applied by the chela, through the work of the Violet Flame, or other mantra work they may engage … light is then bonded to sound. Ultimately, this is the intertwining of consciousness with action.” Simply stated, sound activates light, and light and sound together command the Ray into a force of conscious activity.

Decrees

    Similar to prayers and mantras, these statements of intent and power are often integrated with the use of the I AM and requests to the I AM Presence. And when it comes to activating these spiritual channels, the possibilities are endless. Some express decrees silently through prayer and meditation, while others opt for forceful pronouncements of intent. Rhythmic chanting and singing, therapeutic journaling, and write-and-burn techniques provide just a few conduits of worship.
    Decrees form the foundation of Ascended Master teachings; these simple affirmations create a conscious contact with the I AM Presence, shifting consciousness, expanding awareness, and activating the co-creation process.
    A classic Ascended Master decree for the Violet Flame is as follows: “Violet Flame I AM, God I AM Violet Flame!”
