Use of Ray Forces

The foundation of Ascended Master education is rooted in the spiritual teachings of the Seven Rays of Light and Sound. The Rays expand esoteric power; the utilization of their energies guides students to the fascinating world of Co-creation. A restorative and sacred journey, where the soul encounters the inherent blueprint of perfection, begins with this venerated science. Knowledge and application of the Seven Rays can emancipate an individual from third-dimensional restraints and transform consciousness into the expanded experiences of the super senses: telepathy, clairvoyance, clairaudience, spontaneous healing, and Unity Consciousness.
A Ray is a perceptible energy, though its presence is often subtle. Only individuals whose attention is tuned to the nuances of the Fourth and Fifth Dimensions may readily detect the esoteric existence of a Ray. Through personal experience, conscious understanding, and various states of awareness and manifestation students refine their ability to recognize the presence of Ray Forces. According to Ascended Master teachings, Ray Forces are present in every aspect of human endeavor; these energies influence the physical, psychological, emotional, and psychic essence of mankind. Subjective Energy Bodies

A spurious type of energy—often encountered through drug and alcohol abuse—subjective energy bodies produce a false sense of consciousness. When triggered, it elicits a lower consciousness and a behavior-changing “thought-form.” Popular belief perpetuates this notion: the idea that addictive substances increase a person’s state of euphoria and relationship to a higher power. When in reality, nothing could be farther from the truth. Drugs and alcohol actually suppress lower energy fields and block the ability to create elevated states of consciousness. The experience of love without fear, the sense of pure joy without anxiety, and the ability to live on life’s terms are rare. Yet, the exhilaration produced by a high compels the user to chase experiences sans the emptiness of lower vibrating energy. But, as tolerance necessitates the need for more, the addict or alcoholic futilely struggles to achieve an artificial divine connection authentically produced through sincere and careful spiritual cultivation. What’s left, after the intoxication ebbs, is a more desperate need to fill that spiritual void.
Humans, however, can suppress lower vibrations through contact with a higher consciousness: meditation and other spiritual disciplines are excellent means to achieve this end. But, because this growth is achieved through the Transmutation of lower level energies, subjective energy bodies are not present or created. This base force has limited range; it floats in astral planes and passes from one lifetime to the next in the form of discordant, obsessive thoughts and behaviors. Repetitious ideas, feelings, and actions carry consciousness or Karmic “energetic patterns” of which one is not responsibly aware. The Master Teachers calls this an “invisible creation.”

The Western Shamballa Tradition: Part Two

The builders of Shamballa modeled it after the opulent Venusian City of the Kumaras. On a white island in the sapphire-colored Gobi Sea (present-day Gobi Desert), workers erected the Elysian metropolis of light and consciousness. An ornate bridge of marble and Gold connected the White Island to the mainland. They adorned the city with hundreds of white, dome-and-spire-capped temples—that’s where Shamballa earned its moniker, the City of White. Against this whitewashed backdrop, the luminous Temples of the Seven Rays and their corresponding hues—blue, pink, yellow, pearl-white, green, ruby, and violet—stood prominently along a landscaped avenue. At its terminus rose the Temple of the Lord of the World, Sanat Kumara’s annular, Golden-domed sanctuary. Here, the Ascended Master; three other Venusian Kumaras (lords); and thirty high priests, also known as Lords of the Flame, held conscious light for earth to sustain her place in the solar system. During his time in Shamballa, Sanat Kumara provided more than a spiritual safe harbor for the earth’s denizens. He also formed the Great White Brotherhood—the fellowship of the Ascended Masters.
Thus, Shamballa defined itself as the earthly seat of selflessness. Divine beings, including the unascended, flocked there to volunteer their efforts and services. To elevate their consciousness, and prepare them for upcoming lifetimes and undertakings, Sanat Kumara magnetized their energies with his Divine Love. Others seeking the Master’s Heart Flame trained as messengers at Shamballa’s numerous temples. Many of these servants became initiates of the Great White Brotherhood.
During Shamballa’s physical existence on earth, ascended and unascended members of the Great White Brotherhood returned annually for sanctuary, retreat, rejuvenation, and instruction for the upcoming year. After the third destruction of the city, and Shamballa’s subsequent Ascension to the Fifth Dimension, ascended beings continued this tradition. But, without their aid, earthbound souls could no longer enter the City of White. To gain access, ascended members escorted the unascended to the etheric temples of the City of White by accelerating their light bodies during meditation and dreamtime. For now, Shamballa will continue to exist in the ether, but Sanat Kumara prophesies its return: “[It] shall remain there until it is lowered again, permanently, into the physical appearance world as the Golden Age proceeds and mankind, individually and collectively prove themselves worthy to sustain it for all eternity. It will be My Gift to the evolution that I have loved, and will remain a part of the Star of Freedom, long after I have returned to my home …”

The Western Shamballa Tradition: Part One

Shamballa, which means to make sacred, is the earth’s first Golden City. The notion of Shamballa represents peace, happiness, and tranquility. It’s a place of spiritual cleanliness and divine dominion; it’s the ethereal home and sanctuary of Sanat Kumara. To understand Shamballa’s metaphysical antiquity is to grasp its complex timeline. According to modern occult literature, this mystic metropolis existed more than 60,000 years ago. Other sources suggest that Sanat Kumara’s legion of volunteers descended to earth millions of years ago to build and inhabit the first incarnation of Shamballa. Over its long and calamitous history, the White City experienced a series of cataclysmic Earth Changes that destroyed it three times during sensitive alignments with the Galactic Light of the Great Central Sun. This cosmic susceptibility occurs when the progression of yugas (periods of Vedic timekeeping) move from one age of light to another. Sanat Kumara’s followers rebuilt Shamballa twice; the third time the White City ascended beyond the physical realm where it now exists in etheric perpetuity. This is the thirty-sixth Golden City Vortex of Gobi, known today as the City of Balance. It is located in China over the Qilian Shan Mountains next to the Gobi Desert.
This City of White served a specific purpose: to save the earth and humanity from certain annihilation. Stories like this in the Bible abound. Man’s faith falters; his connection with God dims; and moral, physical, and spiritual depravity prevail—as was the state of the earth before the Time of Shamballa. In a theosophical sense, universal principles demand a certain level of spiritual enlightenment for an entity to exist. The earth and its inhabitants, however, consistently fell short; so a cosmic council of divine luminaries, including Sanat Kumara, voted to destroy the unfit planet.
But the compassionate Venusian Lord wouldn’t allow earth to fall into oblivion. Instead, he offered his light to balance the planet’s metaphysical darkness and disharmony. As word spread of the Master’s plans, devotees—144,000 of them—volunteered to accompany their guru on his Karmic Mission. One hundred of Sanat Kumara’s stalwarts arrived on earth 900 years beforehand to proliferate light; propagate the Flame of Consciousness; and prepare for the coming of Shamballa.
But, Sanat Kumara’s volunteers paid a heavy spiritual price: Karma. No longer would their Venusian souls enjoy the fruits of constant consciousness. Instead, as terrestrial bodies bound to the wheel of embodiment, they would follow the Laws of Earth—death, birth, and the passing of forgotten lifetimes—as their incarnating light energy lifted the consciousness of earth.
Esoteric teachings say fellow Venusian Serapis Bey served as Sanat Kumara’s first volunteer. With an affinity for architecture, this Master Teacher—along with the Seraphic Hosts he served with on the planets of Mercury, Aquaria, and Uranus—offered to oversee the creation of Shamballa. Serapis Bey, the exalted being of light, performed one of the greatest sacrifices in Ascended Master legend by descending—as the light of heavens dimmed—into a physical body. On earth, with his legions of seraphim, Serapis Bey oversaw the building of the White City for nine centuries. His sacrifice awarded him the honor of the Divine Architect of Shamballa. This legend is analogous to the Hindu deity Tvashtri, later known as VishvaKarma, the celestial architect credited with the designing of the Universe and its contents. VishvaKarma represents the power of regeneration and longevity. Serapis Bey later incarnated as Phidias, the great designer of the Parthenon, the classical sculptor of the Statue of Zeus, and the architect of the Temple of the Goddess Athena.

Spiritual Hierarchy: Part Four

The Cosmic I AM Presence of the Solar Hierarchy projects into the Creative Hierarchy through the human heart, and radiates into the Unfed Flame; this is surrounded by the Eight-Sided Cell of Perfection. Human growth evolves through basic psychological and physical needs through ongoing spiritual interaction with the Guardian Angel, Spirit Guides, and Spirit Teachers. According to Theosophical thought, a spirit is incorporeal intelligence and can exist in almost limitless ranges of hierarchical classes: highest, intermediate, and lower. Naturally, these interactions evolve the Lower Self, the animal nature within man, and awaken the Higher Self, as a direct and personal experience of our true nature. Interaction with the Higher Self is also known as the Holy Spirit, a component of the I AM Presence. [Editor’s Note: Some esoteric scholars claim that animals are evolved elemental beings of the Third Kingdom.]
The Awakened Human evolves to embrace the higher qualities of the Astral Body through the Christ-self (friendship, love, compassion), and the advanced characteristics of the Causal Body through the Solar Angel (leadership, confidence, respect, achievement). The I AM Presence instigates the human need for morality, ethics, Co-creation, and problem solving. Psychologist Abraham Maslow identifies a similar pattern of human development through his theory of the hierarchy of needs, which identifies stages of human growth. As self-actualization is developed and evolved, the human needs change with the requirement for knowledge, beauty, and creativity. According to Maslow, these are the impulses of self-actualization, the birth of the HU-man. Maslow’s metaneeds, the human ideals which drive consciousness toward self-realization, mirror the Ascended Master’s Twelve Jurisdictions. The Twelve Jurisdictions are spiritual virtues, and when developed and applied, compel the growth of the HU-man and humanity’s entrance into the Ascension process. Spiritual Hierarchy: Part Three

Ascended Master creation myths place the origination of the human soul from the heart of the Sun God-Goddess who constructs at the end of a Ray the Three-Fold (Unfed) Flame. This generates a Divine Presence, or a God-Flame; a Co-creator with the Source, the Cosmic I AM Presence. According to esoteric historians, some God-Flames choose to remain in the eternal embrace of the loving aura of the parental sun; those who choose to progress further project their spiritual essence into two Rays—Twin Rays. The Twin Rays develop a new light substance: an electrical light field which separates the Rays into two distinct individuals. The I AM—the individualized presence of God—dwells within the newly formed soul, and the electrical field of light is known as the I AM Presence.
The Presence of the I AM on earth forms the nexus of evolution in the Creative, or Human Hierarchy. The Electronic Body of light is formed of both the Causal and Astral Bodies. The Causal Body is known primarily as a mental plane, and many Ascended Masters reside in the higher levels of the Causal Plane during their service to humanity and earth. In Theosophical texts, the Causal body is known as the Karanopadhi, and its lower manifestation is associated with the causes bringing about re-embodiment on the Earth Plane; however, the Causal Plane is also associated with the Buddhi (Sanskrit for intellect) and the enlightenment of pure consciousness through discrimination between material and spiritual reality. It is also the location of both the abstract and rational mind. The Astral Body or Astral Plane has various levels of evolution and is the heavenly abode where the soul resides after the disintegration of the physical body. Within the Astral Plane lie our individual desires and salvation from their incessant demands—the Christ. This plane of emotional energy becomes the proverbial heaven or hell.
The Ascended Master who is free from incarnating on earth directs the Unfed Flame within the heart and builds a new etheric body focused through the immortal spiritual fire and light. Hence, the unascended are directed by the emotional desires of the Astral Body, symbolized by the earthly element of water. The Ascended Master has dissipated encumbering desires into a living flame; human desire is composed of etheric wandering. The human body is flesh; the Ascended Master is a body of spiritual fire— light. The luminous body of spiritual fire is developed through the use of the Unfed Flame in the physical plane.
Elohim focus their etheric Flame of Consciousness into the pineal gland of the human. This creates the Intellectual Consciousness. An outgrowth of the individual consciousness as thought, feeling, and action is the development of Mass Consciousness. Mass Consciousness is often measured by two methods: Collective Consciousness, the total consciousness of all forms of life currently present on earth; and the Group Mind. Societal and cultural beliefs are the creators of the Group Mind’s collection of thoughts, feelings, and actions.

The New Children: The Seventh Manu

Manu refers to a root race or a group of souls inhabiting a vast time period (era or epoch) on earth. The concept of Manu is found among Native American tribes, too. The Hopis describe this term as worlds e.g. fourth world, fifth world. Manu is also a mythical, cosmic being who oversees the souls during their incarnation processes throughout the duration of that specific time period. Some consider Manu a type of spiritual office, not unlike a “World Teacher.” For example, one evolved-cosmic being will serve as Manu for one world cycle, and when it ends, it moves on in the evolutionary process. A different entity serves as Manu for the next group. Each group of souls has a different energy and purpose. Seventh Manu children will possess advanced capabilities—astute intellect, vast spiritual knowledge, and keen psychic abilities. Forerunners of the Seventh Manu will pave the way for this metaphysically venerated population. Carrying less Karmic burden than those of the past, these forbearers of ever-increasing enlightenment promote a sense of higher consciousness. As Dharma flourishes, the Seventh Manu, sponsored by the Beloved Mother Mary, proliferates.

Violet Plume

According to the Master Teachers, in ancient times of greater light on earth, the masses frequently used the Violet Flame to achieve spiritual growth. As a result, it increased to such strength and power it became a visible, ubiquitous violet-purple light in the human aura—the atmosphere was suffused with it. Meanwhile, the Rays of our sun and the luminous moon continuously reflected its vibrant lavender tone day and night. As humanity entered Kali-Yuga, the final stage of the dark age, and consciousness denigrated on the earth, the Violet Plume retreated to the subtle tones often observed at sunrise and sunset. Darker shades and vibrations of the Violet Plume can also be detected during certain phases of the full moon.

Spiritual Hierarchy: Part Two

The Solar Hierarchy encompasses the Elohim and the Archangels. The Elohim (magnetism) are known as the Universal Builders and with the Archangels (radiation)—the Master conductors of the Rays—jointly formed a Creation Grid. At a central juncture of the grid the center of the earth was created through the appearance of the Unfed Flame. To this day, the Unfed Flame is claimed to exist in the center of the earth, and forms the cohesive power for the electrons and atoms of the Four Elements of the earth. Through the direction of the Rays, the Elohim managed the Four Elements (Virgo, Neptune, Aries, and Helios), the Gods of Mountains and Seas, and Amaryllis—the Goddess of Spring. The Devas created mountains, rivers, valleys, prairies, and lakes.
It is claimed that the Ascended Beings Virgo and Pelleur oversaw the creation of the earth element to hold water, and from this substance the human form was ultimately created. The Solar Manu—a Cosmic Being—holds the creative authority to sponsor a generation of incoming lifestreams (approximately 2,000 to 5,000 years). The office of Manu oversees humanity’s spiritual evolutionary process throughout various epochs by protecting the current, incoming race. Two Manus protect incarnating souls; the Solar Manu protects the generations of souls incarnating throughout our Solar System, and the Planetary Manu protects souls incarnating on earth. In the New Times it is prophesied that Mother Mary occupies the earthly post as guardian of the Seventh Manu—highly-evolved souls currently incarnating on earth.
It is said that the gravity of the earth is held through a mystical Rod of Power, a symbol of the office of Lord of the World that is kept securely in the Golden City of Shamballa. The mysterious wand is said to be constructed of orichalcum—the ancient metal of Atlantis—and encrusted with diamonds on either end.
The history of Shamballa involves another important position in the earth’s Spiritual Hierarchy, the leader of the Great White Brotherhood: the World Teacher. Various Ascended Master teachings assert Jesus the Christ was the former resident of this appointment, and Lord Maitreya was the current World Teacher. The Golden Cities stream through the hierarchal radiance of Shamballa, and their importance for the planet and evolving humanity during the New Times has equal significance to the earthly hierarchal offices of the World Teacher and the Buddha.
On earth, the office of the Lord of the Seven Rays is claimed to be held by the Maha Chohan, who oversees the Chohans (Lords) of the activity of the Seven Rays on earth. The Lord of the Seven Rays is likely the archetypal Mithra. The Lords of the Seven Rays oversee vital Temples and Spiritual Retreats located in both etheric and physical locations on earth. These spiritual sanctuaries provide a focus for the activity of the Rays of Light and Sound on earth and shepherd humanity’s continued spiritual education and evolution through the Rays. The Maha Chohan—which means the Major Lord—is said to be surrounded by the white light of all the Rays.

Angels of the Violet Flame

The Angels of the Violet Flame protect the purity of the Flame, dispense its transforming vibration, and carry the transmuting energies of the Flame whenever called upon. These angels can be summoned to assist with decrees and meditation regarding spiritual growth, governmental freedoms and rights, wealth and supply, and to hasten the Ascension Process. Perhaps Angels of the Violet Flame are best known for their ability to expedite healing. Edna Ballard of the I AM Activity writes: “When you want to call forth the Healing Flame to assist someone, hold the picture of the Violet Flame Angel, and watch from the Sun Presence of its heart the projection of a Flame, the center part pink, the outer violet and the outer radiance blue, reaching out and going forth to enfold your Loved Ones, or any one to whom you wish to give assistance.
This can also reach out and into the mental and feeling world of an individual, quiet disturbance, purify and raise the vibratory action of the Inner Bodies into the same Great Purity and Love which the Healing Angels project!”
The following is a decree from the I AM Activity teachings to the Violet Flame Angels for healing:
“Beloved Mighty I AM Presence and Blessed Nada!
I DEMAND the Healing Flame of Love from the Angels of the Violet Consuming Flame COME FORTH in and around me and all under This Radiation, to purify and perfect our bodies! I DEMAND the Violet Flame Angels of Healing Love come and abide with me and heal all I contact!”

Spiritual Hierarchy: Part One

The term Spiritual Hierarchy often refers to the Great White Brotherhood and Sisterhood, however, this term also connotes the spiritual-social structure that exists within the organization, their members, and their various states of evolution. This includes the different offices and activities that serve the Cosmic, Solar, and Planetary Hierarchies. Esoteric historians claim the Spiritual Hierarchy embodies religious principles from Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Neo-Theosophy, and Ascended Master Teachings.
However, to correctly understand the provenance of the Spiritual Hierarchy, it is essential to embrace its unique and concurrent Creation Story. The Ascended Masters’ chronicle of the mythological formation of our galaxy, our Solar System, and the earth offers significant insight and knowledge regarding the Spiritual Hierarchy.
According to the Ascended Master legend, the Silent Watcher embraces the Great Central Sun—the Galactic Center. This Cosmic Being is also known as the Galactic Architect who designed the galaxy along with its many Solar Systems. The Galactic Silent Watcher works in tandem with various Solar Silent Watchers who assist in the design of the individual Solar Systems within the galaxy. Scientists theorize that our sun is one of 200 billion stars in the Milky Way, and so far, astronomers have discovered approximately seventy Solar Systems in our galaxy. The Solar Systems of our galaxy are overseen by the Galactic Silent Watcher and the Galactic Council—comparable to a Galactic United Nations—which comprises many Ascended Cosmic Beings from a variety of solar and star systems, including: the Sirius System, the Pleiades Cluster, the Arcturus System, the Constellation of Centaurus, the Constellation of Pegasus, the Constellation of Hercules, the Constellation of Volans, the Constellation of Aquila, the Orion System, and representatives from the neighboring DAL or DAHL Universe. At the time of this writing, scientific research discovered that the earth may in fact originate from another galaxy: the Sagittarius Dwarf Universe. Researchers surveying the sky with infrared light at the University of Massachusetts mapped a New Star Map, through the use of a supercomputer to sort out a half-billion stars. Through the study of star debris and by pinpointing the exact location of our Solar System—at the crossroads where two galaxies join—they discovered that the Milky Way Galaxy is absorbing smaller galaxies. The Sagittarius Dwarf Universe was discovered by a British team of astronomers in 1994, and in 2003 the Massachusetts team altered their angle of telescopic view to find the earth in perfect alignment with the smaller galaxy, or what was left of it. Researcher Martin Weinberg believes this process is two-billion years in the making: “After slow, continuous gnawing by the Milky Way, Sagittarius has been whittled down to the point that it cannot hold itself together much longer … we are seeing Sagittarius at the very end of its life as an intact system.”
Metaphysicians theorize the discovery of the new galaxy may be the basis for the ending of the Mayan Calendar, because the Pleiades Star Cluster—which the calendar is based upon—is no longer a reliable point for celestial navigation as the earth and its Solar System veer into a new direction.

The Step-down Transformer

The processes instigated through the Cellular Awakening rapidly advance human light bodies. Synchronized with an Ascended Master’s will, the awakened cells of light and love evolve the skills of a Step-Down Transformer to efficiently transmit and distribute currents of Ascended Master energy—referred to as an Ascended Master Current (A.M. Current). This metaphysical form of intentional inductive coupling creates an ethereal power grid that can be used for all types of healing.
A.M. Currents release beneficially charged and sometimes spine-tingling rushes of energy throughout the human system. This energy current is often accompanied by an audible high-pitched ring and a visible translucent glow of white or Gold light. Stepdown Transformers report sensations of time slowing down and a body-warming flush as hands, feet, and chakras conduct the high frequency energy.
According to the Master Teachers tuning your body and your consciousness as a Stepdown Transformer resembles a high quality quartz crystal, emitting effulgent Rays of Light and energy from many directions.
Surprisingly, an A.M. Current is calming and soothing. Since the Vibration of fear is effectively extinguished in its wake, the curative and peaceful frequency influences all who come within contact. Transfers of Step-down energies create a remnant force field that is later detectable, and the frequency can change significantly in strength or weakness dependent on the purpose for the release of the AM Current.
Master Teachers often train students to purposely hold and direct Step-down energies of healing love and light on behalf of earth and humanity. Primarily, Step-down Transformers work solely in private to perfect their craft and skill. When accomplished Step-down Transformers gather in groups the spiritual voltage significantly intensifies.
These larger batteries of energy are often circuited into the collective consciousness to bring about positive political change, societal healing, and restorative balance to Mother Earth.

Avatar

Hindu classifications of the stages of human spiritual advancement are well documented in the Upanishads. They are: Siddha, a perfected being; Jivanmukta, freed while living; Paramukta, supremely free with full power over death. A Paramukta or Ascended Being purposely creates a physical body and descends to earth to either assist humanity or to spiritually bless or balance a disordered world. This Divine Manifestation is known as an Avatar. The perfected, death-free body of an Avatar does not cast a shadow or leave footprints. Such Masters never appear in the gross public, and have the ability to become invisible. It is claimed Saint Germain will take the form of a beggar or an old woman dressed in a wisp of purple or violet clothing. Sananda states he is not limited by form of any kind, and will assume any form or appearance necessary for the task at hand.
According to the teachings of the Ascended Masters, twelve Spiritual Avatars are physically present on earth at any given time. This ensures specific levels of vibration, radiance, and spiritual energy to foster humanity’s growth and evolutionary requirements. Concurrently, another group of twelve Avatar Masters reside at the Fourth Dimension, and yet another series of twelve in the Fifth Dimension. Saint Germain explains that there are minor levels of consciousness between the Third and Fourth Dimensions; and minor levels between the Fourth and Fifth Dimension. Altogether, including the numerous minor levels, a total of 144 Avatars assist humanity’s evolutionary process on earth. A total of 108 Avatars exist on the minor, sub-planes between the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Dimensions. The number 108 is considered sacred in Vedic tradition.
Saint Germain claims that many of the Master Teachers are focusing their energies and teachings toward the awakening of two spiritual aspects of humanity. Their first goal is to awaken the innate Divinity and perfection of the HU-man through the activation of the Eight-Sided Cell of Perfection within the Chamber of the Heart. Secondly, use of the Seventh Chakra awakens the pineal gland (the Third-Eye) and opens the flow of the inner dialogue between the student and the I AM Presence. Saint Germain prophesies that the personal awakening of the Seventh Chakra promotes the collective development and opening of humanity’s heart. This enables mankind to enter a new dimension of spiritual awareness and understanding.

Use of Inner Light

The foundation of Ascended Master education is rooted in the spiritual teachings of the Seven Rays of Light and Sound. The Rays expand esoteric power; the utilization of their energies guides students to the fascinating world of Co-creation. A restorative and sacred journey, where the soul encounters the inherent blueprint of perfection, begins with this venerated science. Knowledge and application of the Seven Rays can emancipate an individual from third-dimensional restraints and transform consciousness into the expanded experiences of the super senses: telepathy, clairvoyance, clairaudience, spontaneous healing, and Unity Consciousness.
A Ray is a perceptible energy, though its presence is often subtle. Only individuals whose attention is tuned to the nuances of the Fourth and Fifth Dimensions may readily detect the esoteric existence of a Ray. Through personal experience, conscious understanding, and various states of awareness and manifestation students refine their ability to recognize the presence of Ray Forces. According to Ascended Master teachings, Ray Forces are present in every aspect of human endeavor; these energies influence the physical, psychological, emotional, and psychic essence of mankind. Rays are said to dispense Karma and direct spiritual evolution—individually and collectively.

Sound

According to Ascended Master teachings, sound is the natural complement of light. In the physical world, sound is a wave of frequencies that travels through a solid, liquid or gas. Esoterically speaking, however, sound takes a different form: vibration. Master Teachers refer to sound as “vibrations per second.” A musical note is akin to a musical atom; it is also a musical pitch with a certain frequency. Each Master Teacher is assigned a specific note.

The Water of Knowledge

According to the Master Teachers, consciousness requires nourishment—much like the physical body—in order to grow and develop. When the Ascended Masters choose a chela or student to work with, they emit this vital energy to the individual, which transmits an essential substance known as the Water of Knowledge.
The Water of Knowledge functions like an oceanic tidal system and transfers waves of conscious energy of differing degrees of power, force, and intention designed to stimulate and impact the student’s consciousness through various effects.
The constant roll of undulating consciousness moves with precision and timeliness, geared specifically for the student, and his or her level of Mastery and spiritual achievement. Since this energy is specifically unique for the spiritual level and vibration of the individual, and the “work at hand,” Master Teachers often assign a certain day of the week to release the energies of the Water of Knowledge, selected precisely for its vibration, influence, harmony, and Ray Force. Days of the week typically assigned to the Seven Rays are:
1. Sunday: the sun; Ruby and Gold Rays
2. Monday: the moon; White, Blue, and Pink Rays
3. Tuesday: Mars; the Ruby Ray and the Pink Ray
4. Wednesday: Mercury; the Green Ray
5. Thursday: Jupiter; the Yellow Ray
6. Friday: Venus; the White, Blue, and Pink Rays
7. Saturday: Saturn; the Blue and Violet Rays
Balinese Hindus celebrate Saraswati, the Goddess of Learning through specific ceremonies designed to worship “God in his manifestation as the Master of all knowledge.” Contained within this series of ceremonies is the Banyu Pinaruh, also known as the Water of Knowledge. During this ceremony, devotees swim and wash in sacred rivers and lakes, purify their bodies with medicinal herbs, and engage in communal prayers for spiritual knowledge, spiritual wisdom, and good health. “The more knowledge people have, the wiser they should be in speech, thought, and deed; and human life will become more interesting, beautiful, and delightful and full of peace.”

Divineship

The essence and presence of the Divine is present within the individual. This is illustrated in Ascended Master teachings through the Unfed Flame, the Eight-Sided Cell of Perfection and humanity’s spiritual unfoldment through the Higher Self, the Christself, and ultimately the I AM Presence. The Divineship is reference to these components of the immortal, spiritual HU-man as a synthesis of their articulate systems and processes.

On Asking Permission . . .

Mankind’s conscious contact with the Great White Brotherhood is a matter of choice. That’s why the Ascended Masters follow the cardinal rule of asking permission when it comes to human interaction. By vow and practice, the Masters never intrude: they don’t demand deference from or dictate a doctrine to a chela or student. Instead, their directions are based on suggestions and affirmations. The Masters identify the presence of natural laws that may affect or alter the course of one’s life. Their knowledge and teachings uplift our consciousness, vibration, and energy. The disciple is free to heed the message and act on it— or not.
