Mankind’s conscious contact with the Great White Brotherhood is a
matter of choice. That’s why the Ascended Masters follow the cardinal
rule of asking permission when it comes to human interaction. By vow and
practice, the Masters never intrude: they don’t demand deference from
or dictate a doctrine to a chela or student. Instead, their directions
are based on suggestions and affirmations. The Masters identify the
presence of natural laws that may affect or alter the course of one’s
life. Their knowledge and teachings uplift our consciousness, vibration,
and energy. The disciple is free to heed the message and act on it— or
not.
