The Ascended Masters never encourage Forgiveness as a matter of turning
the other cheek. Rather, absolution is based on the metaphysical notion
of the Law of Purification: the act of transmuting slower, base energies
into a higher form. It’s about discarding a perception of a situation
or a circumstance, and seeking freedom from objectionable or undesirable
elements.
This involves the process of atonement, but not in the
theological sense. Esoterically speaking, At-One-Ment is the birth of
the Christ Consciousness within: the realization of divinity, wholeness,
unity, harmony, and clarity of consciousness. Forgiveness allows humanity to forever close the door on
and disengage the processes of dark and deceptive energies.
